Personal Care & Daily Living Support
We help with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and mobility, ensuring your loved one maintains comfort, dignity, and independence while feeling safe at home every day.
Caregiving Zen provides compassionate in-home care across Toronto, offering personal support, companionship, dementia care, respite, and post-hospital assistance helping families nurture comfort, independence, and peace of mind every day.
We are a York Region agency serving parts of Toronto. Our caregivers travel from Aurora and the surrounding area, so longer shifts suit Toronto placements better than short daily calls.
We are a York Region agency. Our caregivers travel from Aurora, and the part of Toronto we can serve properly is the north end — Willowdale, Bayview Village, Bathurst Manor, Newtonbrook, Don Valley Village and the neighbourhoods around them. That is roughly thirty to forty minutes from our office outside rush hour. Downtown is a different proposition and we will say so.
North York is not a small market. Toronto's North York Community Council area has about 115,405 residents over 65, roughly 17.8%, and its 70-to-74 cohort grew 29% in the five years to 2021. We support several Toronto families.

We work in Willowdale, Bayview Village, Yonge-Doris, Newtonbrook, Bathurst Manor, Clanton Park, Don Valley Village, Hillcrest Village, Banbury-Don Mills, Lansing-Westgate, Bedford Park-Nortown, Avondale and St Andrew-Windfields.
Language matters here as much as anywhere we work. In the North York area, 52.7% of residents have a mother tongue other than English, and 4.3% speak neither English nor French. Mandarin, Tagalog, Cantonese, Persian, Spanish, Korean and Russian are all common. Tell us what the person you are arranging care for is most comfortable in.
Because our caregivers travel, longer shifts suit Toronto placements better than short daily calls. If what you need is a half-hour visit twice a day, an agency based in the city will serve you better, and we will tell you that rather than take the booking.

We help with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and mobility, ensuring your loved one maintains comfort, dignity, and independence while feeling safe at home every day.

Our caregivers bring warmth and connection through conversation, hobbies, and activities, helping residents stay emotionally strong, socially active, and joyfully engaged in their daily lives.

We provide expert support for families facing memory-related challenges, managing confusion and anxiety with patience, structured routines, and activities that promote comfort.

Take a well-deserved break knowing your loved one is cared for by professionals who offer dependable, short-term support with compassion and understanding whenever you need relief.

Our caregivers ensure smooth recovery after hospital discharge, managing medications, meals, mobility, and follow-ups so your loved one can heal safely and comfortably at home.
We start with a free in-home assessment to understand needs, preferences, and routines, then create a personalized care plan tailored to your family’s situation.
We carefully select a caregiver based on personality, skills, and compatibility to ensure your loved one feels comfortable and supported throughout their care journey.
We continuously review care plans, communicate with families, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality, consistency, and satisfaction for every client we serve.
Most families we work with in north Toronto are discharged from North York General on Leslie Street, from Humber River Health — whose Wilson Avenue site was renamed Hennick Humber Hospital in April 2026 — or from Sunnybrook.
Discharge is the moment that catches families out: the hospital is ready before the house is. We can put a caregiver in the home from the first night.
One thing that genuinely helps here: much of north Toronto sits in Ontario Health atHome's Central area — the same region we already work in from Aurora, with an office on Sheppard Avenue East. Parts of the city fall under Toronto Central instead, so check by postcode. The North York Seniors Centre on Hendon Avenue and the Bernard Betel Centre on Steeles, which runs programs in English and Russian, are both worth knowing.

Our caregivers receive continuous training in senior support, dementia care, and safety practices, ensuring your loved one receives consistent, professional assistance every single day.
We design care around your loved one’s lifestyle, health needs, and preferences, giving every family truly personalized support that evolves as circumstances change.
We keep families informed with regular updates, ensuring open communication, transparency, and peace of mind for every client we serve.
We’re proud to serve communities with care that’s grounded in empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of local families’ needs and values.
